About Us

We are a group of returned Senior Missionaries who served together in Nauvoo in 2019 - 2020. Two in our group, Gregg Draney, a cowboy poet, and Phil Munoa, an accomplished musician and composer, conceived and wrote all the songs we perform. We loved our time in Nauvoo! Learning about the city and the people who established it. It is those people that inspired this music.

Our Story

In the winter months of 2019-2020 while serving together as Senior Missionaries in Nauvoo, we had very few visitors. To serve the surrounding communities during that time we formed a musical group and visited senior living centers in the area. We played and sang songs that were familiar to the center's residents, inviting them to sing along.

After returning home some of us from that group, who live relatively close together, wanted to continue telling the stories of the original people of Nauvoo. Elder Gregg Draney and Phil Munoa had been inspired to write songs about them. Our one hour fireside program, that we have been performing throughout the Mountain West states, is comprised of some of these inspiring original songs.
